We are upskilling umpires who want to umpire 6v6 and 7v7.
All new umpires wanting to learn how to umpire 6v6 or 7v7 will attend the same Introduction to Umpiring (ITU) course. This initially involves attending at least two theory sessions and one practical. The theory sessions will teach all umpires the 7v7 format. Umpires wishing to umpire 6v6 for the season will then attend an additional extension class to learn the format changes.
2026 ITU Course Dates - Cambridge Netball runs these course FREE of charge.

The theory will be run over two sessions. You must attend one of the Theory 1 classes and one of the Theory 2 classes. It is preferred (and recommended) that you attend Theory 1 before Theory 2 as this will follow on from the previous session.
